Bloomingdale Neighborhood Association
The BNA is a community association for the entire Bloomingdale Community that relies on voluntary membership contributions by residents and local
business support. It is separate from the voluntary and mandatory HOAs in the community and has no jurisdiction over them. However, HOAs and the
BNA are supportive of each other as needed. For example, calls/emails they receive from people regarding specific HOAs are forwarded to that HOA
& their Management Company. When the BNA sets up an event, Bloomingdale Cove posts it to the residents via the Message Board on Groveway
and in the Quarterly Bloomingdale Cove Times – when the event falls within the time frame of that quarter.
The voluntary Association’s primary purpose is to promote neighborhood cohesion and harmony while protecting property values and the quality of life of residents.

Bloomingdale Special District

The BSD is a special taxing district geared to the needs of the Bloomingdale Community.  It is funded by an annual assessment that is included in your property taxes.
 
The BSD has the authority to maintain the common areas, including but not limited to landscaping, community entryways, lighting, irrigation, signage, and perimeter walls adjacent to county easements.  In addition, it will maintain the Bell Shoals median in the Bloomingdale area after the county has finished construction.  It also provides the holiday decarations and banners you see along Bloomingdale main roads.  The BSD currently pays off duty police officers to do periodic patrols of the Bloomingdale Community to help with reduction in speeding and any other issues that occur.
 
The BSD meets the second Monday of every month at their Erindale office.  Minutes of the meetings, along with other information, can be found on their website.  Minutes of each meeting are posted once they are approved by the Board of Directors at the following meeting.

Bloomingdale Substation for HCSO
The community law enforcement station handles community complaints, responds to property crime, and handles fraud reports.
